Shield Flat Elevator Traveling Cable
Flat Elevator Traveling Cable
Shield
The Shield Flat Elevator Traveling Cable, also referred to as the Shield Flat Lift Traveling Cable, is purpose-built for demanding vertical lifting systems, including elevators, lifts, hoisting equipment, and other applications requiring frequent bending and continuous movement. This series incorporates a multi-layer shielding structure combining aluminum foil and high-density copper braiding within the flame retardant elevator flat cable with fiber optic construction, delivering superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and reliable signal integrity.
As a heavy-duty PUR elevator cable for hoistway vertical travel, the shielded design provides added mechanical protection and long-term shape stability, ensuring stable signal transmission and consistent electrical conductivity during prolonged reciprocating motion. Moreover, the SDI video integrated lift cable configuration, fully protected by the aluminum foil and braided shield, supports high-definition video transmission alongside power and control signals without external interference, making it ideal for high-rise or high-cycle elevators where durability, safety, and noise free signal transmission are critical.
Key Features
Shielding Structure – Multi-layer shielding combining aluminum foil and high-density copper braiding for enhanced electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection
EMI Protection – Effectively blocks external interference, ensuring noise-free signal transmission in electrically noisy hoistway environments
Longer service life – Steel reinforcement reduces core stress: up to 6 years for PUR sheath, 4 years for PVC sheath
Excellent flexibility – Easy installation in narrow hoistways
99% fine oxygen-free copper – Ensures superior conductivity
Flexible & bend-resistant design – Adapts to long-term reciprocating bending motion
Oil, cold, and weather resistance – Suitable for indoor, outdoor, and semi-outdoor environments
This cable supports on-demand integration of:
Optical fiber unit
Signal transmission
SDI video transmission
One cable transmits power, control, data, and HD video. Reduces hoistway cabling and installation complexity. Suitable for elevator systems with integrated monitoring or communication requirements.
